True. In all of the videos I'm amazed out how small an area is affected. There's very little debris flying around, it seems rather contained.

The P-51 hit coming almost straight down, so all of the energy would be directed downward into the earth. The really horrific (not saying this is not) videos of airshow accidents usually have the plane impacting at a shallow angle, allowing the wreckage to skid and inflict more damage/carnage.

Why would you need to log in?

Fucking YouTube actually makes you log into your account just to state that you're old enough to view graphic videos, I guess simply clicking "Yes" just isn't good enough anymore. Of course I'll never own a YouTube account again so in such a case I usually Google the video title and watch the cached version, so far those censor-happy fucktards can't do anything about that at least.

anything marked age inappropriate etc. can't be watched without logging in
Oh I didn't know this. Must be relatively new.

You don't have any Google accounts? Gmail, Reader, Google+ etc? You can use these accounts.

I am amazed at the complete destruction of a 7000 pound plane with a V-12 Merlin in the nose. Those poor people. The only good thing is the 100 plus gallons of avgas did not ignite.

damn even though the cameraman didnt get the actual impact or few seconds leading up to it, the sound is enough to send shivers down spines.

im sure its enough to give WWII vets PTSD if they survived/witnessed kamikaze attacks.
