If he doesn't have to carry the load its not unreasonable. He seems to be in good shape.

damn this team is freakin crazy..i can't wait 'till the season starts now......now i want spurs to get kidd and mavs go get zo and stuff....next season will be crazy for the western conference....

Him and Gary Payton are basically trying to buy themselves a championship. Very cheap, I hope they realize that. This isn't them winning a title as a Great player, with their respective teams, this is them trying to make a dream team to get a title that they could never win for themselves.

Damn, I was hoping it was just all talk. I hate Karl Malone but am a die-hard Laker fan. I can't believe actual Laker fans would want him here considering the history that he has with LA and some of its players.

Guess we better widen the bandwagon because here comes a whole bunch more fans. Talk about a different Laker team... Soon we're gonna be viewed as the Yanks. Oh well... Here's hoping the team can get along for this season and hand this guy his ring and get him out of LA.

Don't worry. At least the Lakers' salary isn't 3/2 the salary of the 2nd highest team. (Do they even have the biggest salary?)

It'll be fun to watch that team next year. I hope payton and kobe don't get along and shaq and malone don't get along and they all try to hog the ball, have a whole bunch of problems with each other, end up losing in the WCF to the spurs. Hope the spurs get kidd and Zo, comeon spurs!!!!

Looks like malone and payton are trying to pull a drexler!
