I've noticed it's impossible to eat a healthy breakfast at a restaurant, and almost impossible to eat one at home.
Eggs are fried in grease.
Hashbrowns are fried in grease.
Sausage is greasy.
Bacon is greasy.
Pancakes are cooked in a pan that has grease or some sort of non-stick agent, and if that's not enough, syrup is the brown liquid death of the world.
Waffles could be as healthy as bread, if not for the syrup.
Toast.....who eats toast without butter or artery clogging satan jelly?
French toast? Bread dipped in eggs, milk, and covered in..........syrup.
Biscuits and gravy? Without the gravy, maybe. With the sausage usually in the gravy, definetly not.
This leaves us with but two options to eat in the morning
Cereal in skim milk
Fruit
Granola/Cereal/Whatever bars
Breakfast is the time when I'm weakest too!
We need better options. Options other than fruit or BALLOON TO 400 LBS!
