My celeron 600@900 has been stable but in the hot summer weather it I get random quits in Starcraft(once back to 600 it goes away). The BIOS only allows max +.2v Vcore(max 1.70v on the default 1.5V for cB0 celerons 533a-600) but I think I need to give it just a bit more juice. I tried looking for some modified BIOS to allow it to no avail. I did come across this page that shows how to up the default voltage. Is that my best bet and has anyone tried it before?

PS that page mentions that the author got 1.8v from the board from the get go, is that a typo or is it really possible without mods?

I used that method to bump the voltage on my CII 533a and my girlfriends CII 566a except I used the rear window deffoger repair kit to do this (the same thing you use on T-birds and Durons) and it worked great. I beleive the voltage limit you will end up with will be 1.8volts with the BM6 after you do this. I sold mine months ago, and my girlfriends is at 1.7volts and did'nt need more than that.
