Christ, white isn't even bread. It's a fail loaf of structured air. Worst poll ever.

You will eat your white bread young man, and like it.

They found a loaf of bread in the crib and the baby in the oven. The babysitter was found sleeping on the sofa, covered in crumbs. Her blood sugar was off the charts.

These were all made with a natural sourdough starter except the Challah.

I like Sourdough but soft wheat rules all. I hardly ever toast my bread. If I'm eaten bread it will be a sandwich. So I can't vote on this incomplete pole.

I'm sure I'll get called a heathen for saying this, but fuck bread. Not a fan at all. I guess I like bagels, but they have to have a half pound of cream cheese on them before they're edible.

I LOVE bread.

White bread first, sourdough second. Butter is required, with the sole exception of sandwiches, which require some sort of mayo or mustard.

I freaking hate any kind of bread that has a grainy/gritty texture. I mostly avoid wheat bread for this reason.

I make my own.

Bagels, sourdough, and a whole lot more.

This crustless, tasteless stuff called bread these days? See my sig.

Too many variables to choose a single option.

I prefer white bread, but not the "balloon bread" crap.
"Wheat bread" is a misnomer since MOST bread is made from wheat...white, sourdough, etc....and I like toast for breakfast...and for some sammiches...some get buttered, some don't.

I've been eating gluten free bread recently. It's astonishingly delicious, but it's also astonishingly $8.00 per loaf...

never toasted.

usually butter, cream cheese only if it's a bagel.

in order of preference,

1. rye
2. bagel (everything > salted > plain)
3. rolls (kaiser > portugese)
4. white bread

I live a couple blocks away from a pretty famous rye bread bakery, so that's where I usually go... when that's impractical, I'll hit the bakery section of my grocery store for rolls... very rarely, I'll buy white bread (typically only if I need bread for making a meatloaf or something, or if I'm expecting company).

it's pretty rare for me to buy bagels outside of getting a bagel w/ cream cheese from a bagel bakery on my way to work for breakfast.
