A British man fighting for Saddam Hussein has surrendered to the Desert Rats in Iraq.
The man, in his mid-20s, told the Irish Guards he was from Manchester and wanted to return home - to claim benefits.
After handing himself over he began taunting some of the soldiers that he would soon be back in Britain enjoying state benefits even though he had a wish to fight against our people.
Story

Methinks this fellow might not make it back to the UK.

I think that he may get benifits, a small room and three meals a day for some time.

How the hell could he be tried as a war criminal? Treason maybe (depending on British law), but the facts aren't in yet.

Too bad Britain is a member organization in the EU which forbade the death penalty.

Maybe they will see the errors of the EU now.

Yeah, I was hoping Fencer might jump in to enlighten us on this one. I mean what kind of benefits is he looking forward to getting other than an ass-pounding from his cellmate Bubba?
