Brand Specific?

Anyone Brand Specific here? I am pretty biased with LG, but thats because I have owned a few LG TVs their Blu Ray player is ahhhmazing and the load time is extremely fast. We timed the BD390 and its pretty close to what LG claims it to be. Blu Ray player wise Ive learned to stay away from the bdp-120 cause its the most annoying thing to wait for it load. I haven't used pioneers bdp-320 yet though and am eager to see the adjustments made.

I have several LG, Onkyo, Logitech products. Not really brand specific, but rather brand prejudice I've had more than 8 Sony products (clock radios to headphones to TV's to receivers) all fail within 12 months of their warranty end...so no go for me and Sony.

Other than that, it will depend on where I'm using the product. If it is a bedroom blu-ray player, the $80 Magnavox at NewEgg is tempting...in my theater room...never a brand that cheap. (My BH200 from LG has served me well -- not the fastest in the world, but will play all of the HD DVD's I bought for less than $5 each)

Haha I feel the same way about sony. Haven't really bought any of their stuff since 06. Had some bad words with their warranty dept.... Also, I purchased the hd dvd player for the xbox when it first came out and it works pretty well for me, especially at the price of those hd dvds now. If only they still made them haha.
