I currently own Windows ME that only can be loaded onto my Dell and I also own Windows 2000 professional that can only be loaded onto my HP. Is there anyway that I can load the WinME onto my HP?? I do own both computers and I own the software that came with them, these are not pirated copies, I just want both of my systems running the same operating system. Arghh

Check out the licenses. I am not positive but you must own a license for each machine. For example you would need 2 licenses for win2k if you had that installed on both machines. You do not "own" the software, you have "rented" it. Check out linux or better operating systems for a system with an acceptable license.
