I'm thinking about picking up a brand new MOBO, maybe the Lanparty Ultra-D. Will the X-Fi be worth the extra money in a 5.1 setup?

Yeah, what speakers are you hooking up?

You might be better off spending the money on new speakers than a new soundcard.
