Brand new Mac Book with Parallels having probs with Windows Update

Is there some sort of work around for this? I am at a loss as to what to do. Thank you!

Ok.. I'm confused. Does IE7, or Windows Update crash?

IE7 crashes as it is trying to load muweb.dll for Windows Update.

All other browsing, IE7 works fine.

So it seems that they're both doing something to crash each other.

Try VMWareFusion instead.

Could it just be a problem with the two programs, Parallels and Windows Update?

It's a possibility.. if you switch on the native Updating within the System window, does that work, or is it just the windows update site itself?

I gave up. This person has Leopard so they have Boot Camp. I'm going to try it with that instead of Parallels. Thanks for the input though!

No prob.. I don't actually use the Windows Update site, since i don't like the whole WGA crap that MS tries to put on your machine. Anyway, sorry I couldn't be more help.
