Brand New GF4 Ti 4200 wont WORK !!! PLS HELP

hi all,

I just managed to get a GF4 Ti4200 from china (seethru make) (i am in india)
he just fails to give display on my machine ... i have a Asus nforce 220D mobo. I have tested it on a DFI KT 266A Mobo also ...but not luck...

the person who got it is never going back to china ..... PLS HELP.... more than the money its the
non availability of Graphics Cards here in india which worries me ....
the same card would cost me about $360 here ... which I cant afford.

Pls Help .....

Make sure on your mobo, that all video(if built in to mobo) functions are disabled. Also make sure that on the motherboard, your agp slot is not having pins jumping. In other words; Make sure that the pins in the actual slot are not crossed. Also make sure that everything is secure and tight, double check by adding another monitor in place of the current one, see if that solves it. Try a different video card instead and see if that works. Try all of these combinations and see what happens. If nothing works, i.e. a video card that WAS good but now is not, then its your mobo, otherwise it might be the new video card. Do the same with the monitors.
