Brand new Denon 2112 for $388...decent deal?

My Onkyo receiver pooped out a month before the warranty went up. Primary zone amp fried out. Got it repaired under warranty. And 3 months later it died again.

Now I've got a 40 pound paperweight..at least zone 2 works still and can power my whole house audio.

Anywoo...Don't want to spend a lot...$500 or less. Local vendor has the Denon 2112 on sale for $388 which looks like a smoking good deal. It's a firesale on last years models. Other than a small power bump and 4k display support (won't be getting one of those anytime soon!) don't see much reason to go for newer models.

Decent deal for the $$? Any other options I should consider?

seems decent, 80$ or so off what they seem to be going for online

prob a better deal then you will find on similar item's on A4E and the like

That's about $70 less than I paid for mine (including shipping).

This is the biggest addition to xx13 models for me:

--- All Zone 2 models allow fully independent streaming of network audio to Zone 2
--- Previous limitation of AirPlay "hijacking" main zone has been resolved, AirPlay can go to Zone 2 independently (although note that there is an initial "hijack" when AirPlay is initiated; after the AirPlay stream is going you can switch Main Zone to a different source)
I'd like to use it for AirPlay when I'm in the kitchen, but you have to use AirPlay and then manually turn off Zone 1. Note that you can do that remotely through the app or web interface, so it may not be a huge deal.

The 2112ci also does not display the GUI volume slider during 3D content. That feature is limited to the 2312ci and above. I believe the 1913 and above do it, but I cannot find a confirmation in the owner's thread. Of course, if you don't view 3D content (I rarely do), it isn't that big of a deal.
