Does anyone have any suggestions for a relatively easy (without removing the motherboard) way to improve the cooling on an Inspiron 518 (as in a specific heatsink & fan)? I have a Intel E7200, and I feel like it has unlocked potential.

So you want to OC your laptop's CPU? Not a good idea, besides the BIOS lacks the abilities to OC and windows based OCing utilites suck and could damage your system. So don't try it and there isn't any way to improve cooling the CPU other then possibly replacing the TIM to pull a couple of degrees off the temps.

The PC i'm getting (Dell 518) is a desktop, and its not a slim case, so there should be room to add a new cooler (heatsink & fan), but I just want to be able to pop the old heatsink off and clamp a new, better one on the CPU. Any suggestions? I think the Dell 518 is the same case as the Dell 530, just a different color.
