brake dust on one side

bought an '09 Pontiac G8 GT with 9k miles back in March(it has 11k miles now). It runs very well, and I love the car. The only thing odd is that I notice brake dust accumulate only on the left side of the car(front and back wheels). The right wheels have almost no brake dust on them. The car doesn't pull to one side when braking--which makes it even weirder. Due to the low mileage, I'm pretty sure that everything is OEM. Any ideas???
 
Right hand side of the road are where the puddles are, maybe it's getting washed off.

The only way you're going to know if something is wrong is if you or someone pulls off the tires and looks to see if there is uneven wear.

Nah, go down the highway for a bit and pull over. Use an IR thermometer (or your hand..) to see if one wheel is hotter than the other (brake lightly sticking..)


Are your wheel 'spokes' tilted and causing one side to 'push' air out or something?
 
Sounds like the left side has different type of brake pads than the right side. Semi-met vs. organic or ceramic. It's a stretch, true, but stranger things have happened when buying used.

hmmm....I hope not. The car only has 9k miles when I bought it, and it was dealer serviced. I don't see the need to change brake pads at only 9k miles. I could be wrong, though 😛
