Brainstorming help

Hey everybody,

I am getting started on a research paper for my english class that's due in like a month. Anyway, I need a topic to write it on. What are some tech-related laws that have been passed recently that are ridiculous, and that you think shouldn't have been passed in the first place? I am totally drawing a blank right now, other than the obvious one being the DMCA. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Oh wow... how did I miss those? Thanks for the ideas! I think I'm going to check out net neutrality, since that was one I was thinking about but couldn't remember what it was called.
