Brain teaser at work got me confuzzled

See what happens when you don't take a year of math even after calculus? Anyway, he usually gives us a 24 game and pattern finding. Now it's a word problem.

A seller blends tea (a) that sells for $4.65 a pound with tea (b) that sells for $2.40 a pound to make 80 pounds that sells for $2.75 a pound. The mixture should contain how many pounds of a and how many pounds of b?

I know this will use just basic equations, but this is one of those puzzles that you can just taste but can't bite.

x = lbs of A
y = lbs of B

equations:
x + y = 80
(x * 4.65) + (y * 2.40) = 80 * 2.75

u can solve them yourself...
