I haven't seen it, thought I would check it out at some point...assuming it is hitting Netflix? I've never thought the Starz stuff was all that great, but they are always quite entertaining and certainly guaranteed T&A.

They all seem like re-skinned Spartacus-type productions.

Anyway, congrats!

All of the sound effects. muskets cannon fire sword fights the gore of people getting the head chopped off cannonballs impacts. The boats creaking, all the water sounds, mast drops. Yeah basically all the fun shit 😉

So I wasnt around last year for [REASONS] however myself and the team I work on won Emmys for our work on black sails in the sound editorial catagory. We we just got the nomination today for a chance to win 2 in a row. Feeling pretty good right now. Anyways I work all the time and have few friends so I will share it here for all you old bastards to hate on me instead 😎
