anyone ever get the magazines from magazine outlet? i signed up with that training visa number so I guess i should of done it with a real CC#, but i'm wary of doing that. oh well. I did get my uvex protective glasses though! now i can look like a dork everywhere i go

Now, open the box for your battery. There they are! Your free baby socks! No battery, even though that's what it says on the invoice. Grrrrr. Nope, I don't feel better now.

Just received my free headset from One Voice, along with their little software package (*wanks*). Kind of a cheap headset, but I wasn't expecting a whole lot for free. At least I got a decent set to use w/ Dialpad. 🙂

Has anyone received their Compaq rebates from the Staples deal back in September? I received my copy of free WinME (from Compaq), but still haven't received the $250 from Compaq nor the $100 from Staples. Just curious!!!
 
Compaq, 3Com, M$ft, IBM have always come thru with T-shirts, IME. They are the only ones I bother with anymore.

Is it my imagination, or are the deals simply not as HOT as this time last year, or, have I just bought all the toys I want?

If you do a deal through Gomez with a rebate (such as open a Datek account), you may have to bug them about it. First, they came back and said that Datek told them I had not funded an account. I had funded two. I'm still trying to figure out who is the lying %#@#%%.
