IDK what match the HBO announcers were watching, but neither fighters was "hurt" more than one another.

It was pretty clear that in all the early rounds Pacquiao turtle-d significantly, while Bradley was very consistent and aggressive.

The decision for Bradley is a good one.

If one was listening closely to what the announcers were saying, it didn't match the fight at all as it was going on. Personally, I was like, wtf fight were they watching, Pacquiao isn't punching. D:

That' said, I've always known boxing is rigged. I mean, the entire industry is run by the Behind the Scenes Vegas.:sneaky:

They basically built up the entire Pacquiao legend status to swindle the Filipino gamblers, which undoubtedly lost big this time. :\

This is why you always go for the knockout... once it gets to the judges, it's anyone's guess who's going to win.

Boxing is hardly dead. The world has enough stupid fucking idiots that keep paying for fights.

To make judging fair they would need a nice body suit that counts any hits of x force or higher.
The numbers for judging stuff always seem to come from thin air.

Ive said this many times before, I hate all fight judges, boxing, ufc whatever, that count aggression and and more punches thrown when ALL of them are being blocked or dodged as a plus to the aggressor.

CompuBox showed Pacquiao connected on 253 punches to Bradley's 159, with a 63-51 advantage in jabs and 190-108 in power punches.

Many reporters at ringside unofficially scored the bout for Pacquiao in the 9-3 to 11-1 range

Watched it PPV, Pacquiao clearly dominated Bradley during most of the fight. Not sure what those 2 judges were seeing. Apparently the new way of proclaiming the winner now is the number of punches/jabs thrown regardless if they land or not. Even Bradley himself showed a surprised face that he won on such a narrow margin. D:

I agree, let the fighters use a body suit that has sensors to count how many punches actually landed and what the impact of force was. Better yet, put the sensors on the boxing gloves.

D: You can't be serious...

I meant like a pressure sensor inside the boxing gloves, for impact measurement. Take boxing statistics to another level. :\

Here at Bresslergroup we have recently started using a force-sensing "glove" for ergonomic research and analysis. We use the FingerTPS ("tactile pressure sensing") system from Pressure Profile Systems. Both the hardware and software are very easy to set-up and use; and we've been applying it to a range of projects including consumer, industrial and medical product design. For example, we can measure the force applied over time for particular fingers when operating various controls on products (e.g. touchscreen versus five-way controller). Besides benchmarking product controls, we can evaluate the relative strengths of different types of users (e.g. children, adults, disabled users) to advise on appropriate control design.
See the video below from PPS that explains how the system works:

No, what I meant is, you can't possibly be serious!!! (Thanks for the laugh at going through all that trouble to dig up something that if you'd only stop and think for a second would have saved us all these posts. Are you flirting with me?)

What's stopping me from punching the other guy's sharp elbows to score points?

Did you watch the fight? Bradley won.

Was Pacquiao badly beaten, heck no, was he even hurt, doesn't look that way either. It's a technical thing, and the numbers say Pacquiao lost.

The only true way to make things Objective, is to fight until one guy falls over either from damage, or tiredness.
