Brackets and Mounts?

2000 Honda Accord. The motor and trans mounts are bad. Brackets look fine, any incentive to changing them out?

Are you asking if you should replace your worn-out motor mounts? If so, yes.

I meant to emphasize the brackets - the mounts are a no-brainer. Should I also go after the brackets?

I'm not familiar with an Accord's motor mounts, but the motor mount I replaced on my '86 MR2 was one piece (bracket/mount).

You need to examine them. If they are solid and not all rusted / failing apart, then reuse them. At worst, while you have them out, wire wheel them and repaint them with a high quality, high temp paint (most auto parts stores have it)
