These work great. I use it for my GPS. I got mine at BB for $39 so this is a great price.

$19.99 + $1.99 processing and $7.95 shipping = $29.93. Am I missing something?

I see the same - shipping and processing means it ends up costing more than from amazon affiliate eastside ($24 shipped) ? What's the free shipping trick that would make this a deal?

I also have one and love it. It's a bean bag with a flat plastic surface for suction cup use. Works great.

But...this price is NOT hot. I bought mine here for much less with very quick shipping (about $15-$16 shipped i think).

Mine hasn't arrived yet, but from reading the http://mountguys.com description and the amazon reviews: it's a donut shaped, weighty beanbag on a nonslip underside (so it doesn't slide around your dashboard) with a smooth, hard plastic base where the donut hole should be for the gps suction mount to attach, so the gps stands up out of the donut shape.

AFAIK it works with any suction mount that fits into the center of the donut, but I read some reviews saying the height was not sufficient to get the gps above the edge of the donut bag for some specific gps models.

I can't use a vent mount and I definitely don't want those "please break into this car to steal the GPS" suction rings screaming out to the neighborhood junkies from inside my windshield.

what happens if you hit a pot hole or a bump on the road ?
the last thing I want is for it to fly off and damage it.

It's very heavy and very secure. Unless you hit potholes that lift your entire body out of your seat, your GPS will be fine.

Hmmm...may have to get this once the suction cups stop adhering to the windshield.
