Braces, how much does it cost nowadays?

If you're a woman around early 30s and you want to get braces to straighten your teeth, what should you expect to pay?

My sister had her six front teeth 'replaced' with ceramics for $6000 I think... She had a chipped and crooked front tooth.

Suggestion - Invisalign. About $3-4K depending on severity/type of teeth problems (crowding, gaps, crooked, all of the above)

You can remove 'em when you eat, and it's better than having a mouthful of metal.

i would expect to pay your pride, but when you get them off youd get a full refund.

Tx, will look into that.

It really depends on how much you need done, how long it will take, etc.

There is no set price.

Any orthodontist should give you a (most likely) free quote.

Invisalign costs slightly more (+10% when I was quoted) and the results are not qutie as good, but it is much more convenient.

i would say on average, for normal braces, not visalign about 4k.
I think they are the best investment one can do for themselves.
I got them when i was younger and it was the best thing i could have ever done.
