so its almost finished, except i'm not too happy about the shape of my teeth in the end. My bottom row is perfect and so is the top, but the top row of teeth are shaped more oval than I would like. I would rather have them be more square and fake looking. Did anyone go through that? What are my options? Could I ask the ortho to file the top in between to give them a more square shape? I don't want them too thin though. Did anyone go through that?

Damn Casio you have changed, I never thought I would hear such criticism from you regarding your hero Tom..

Back to the subject at hand, don't do anything cosmetic to your teeth. You are too young to have them filed down, I saw a report on 20/20 a few months ago that showed the horrors of veneer teeth and filling them too much.. Just let them be.

They file your teeth down to nothing. you are still young and I doubt you have the cash flow that A-list celebrities have when getting this crap work done. Think about, do you really want to file down your teeth to brittle just to have a perfect smile? What if the operation doesn't work out or your gums get infected? Do you want to risk a lifelong battle to fix your teeth to have them look hollywood-like now?

you cynic. These things don't happen. They file the enamel b/w the teeth to get them to look better. Nothing gets infected. That only happens in movies.

I'm telling you, I saw a report on 20/20 a while back that had a long segment on the practice. Bad results are more common than you may think
 
Speak to your dentist. He/she can offer you options ranging from reshaping the teeth, composite fillings, veneers, or crowns.
