Incompetent fscking company :|
Had a 6:45 AM flight, and I live about 10 minutes from the airport. Last couple times I called a cab they were 10:00 minutes early when I called in advance.
So, I set up a cab delivery at 11:00 PM at night for a 5:15AM pickup. I haul my suitcase out to the front of my apartment complex and start waiting out there at around 5:05. 5:15 rolls around, no cab. So I call them up and see WTF is up. They tell me 10 minutes...okay...not happy but still can live with it. 5:30 rolls around no cab. Call back AGAIN. Once again..."oh, well it'll be another 8-10 minutes". And since it'll take me at least 5 minutes to walk to my apartment, 5 minutes to call in another cab, and 5 minutes to walk back to the front gate I say fsckit and keep waiting. 5:45 come around this time. STILL NO CAB. So I call a third time. Get a different dispatch and ask the girl if it makes sence that a cab I called in 6 hours in advance was 30 minutes late. All I get is "let me talk to my manager". After 5 minutes of being on hold (it's now 5:50) I get the same old "8-10 minutes response". So a cab finally rolls around to get me at about 2 minutes after 6:00, over 45 minutes late. By this time traffic is starting to pick up and a 10 minute drive is closer to 20 minutes.
I get to the airport over an hour later than planned, can't check in because check in is closed (half an hour before boarding) and I have to sit around and wait for 3 hours so they can reroute me.
THANK YOU AAA! You made my day start off so well.
Oh and not so much as a "We're sorry!" from these assholes. They wouldn't even comp my fare!
