I haven't listened to this CD for awhile (U2-Boy). When you think about the age of these guys at the time (all about 18), it's really amazing. Edge's guitar, Bono's lyrics, all very impressive.

I had a religious experience as a 15 year old listening to that album....

Boy and October are AWESOME in terms of the energy they were putting out back then.

All the other girls were listening to Motley Crew and Duran Duran and I was sooooo into Rush and U2!

I have to say, despite my mistakes in life, I have always had great taste in bands.

Rush AND U2? Yes you have. I don't like the new U2, but I'm currently listening to October. I like it all through Rattle and Hum. Unforgettable Fire is my favorite (if I had to choose). I had the same kind of experience listening to that song. And Bad.

Unforgettable Fire was my favorite as well. I had Boy and October on vinyl , as well as all the other albums up through Rattle and Hum (Remember when the movie came out? I think I can still recall holding my high school girlfriend's hand in the theater ).

I own the video. Saw it several times in the theaters. Pride at the end made ya want to cry (if you were a die hard fan). Skipped school to buy Achtung Baby. What a dissapointment. Oh well. We still have the classics.
