Boy Not Allowed To Bring Porn Star To Prom

WESTON, Conn. -- Max Miesel didn't get very far with his prom date -- who's a porn star.

Max won a date with adult film actress Tyler Faith on Howard Stern's show Friday. Max is a student at Connecticut's Weston High School. The Advocate of Stamford, Conn., reported school officials and Max's parents stepped in before Saturday's prom.

Max said his dream was to take a porn star to the dance. But it was a dream unfulfilled.

Weston High Principal Mary Kolek says a date with a porn star violates the school's prom guidelines. Kolek said Max would be allowed to attend -- with a more appropriate date.

I'm curious about what prom guideline this violates. Surely this specific scenario isn't spelled out so I wonder what they twisted.

man that sux...the kid even had his grandparents come on the Howard Stern show to say it was ok with them as long as no sex was going to happen and the porn star promised that there would be no sex

well I'm sure they have an anti-porn queen rule.

actually they probably have a rule on the age. I had to talk to the principal to take my GF (now wife) to her sr prom. I was 21 at the time and they Had a rule that nobody over 20 could go.

It's likely either an age restriction or an issue with her not being a school student. My HS implimented this screwey system my senior year where in order to take a non-student to prom you had to submit a request halfway through the school year, almost 5 months before prom, which wouldn't have been an issue if they didn't announce the policy maybe a month before the requests were due. And even then they rejected half of the requests, not to mention they put a low limit on how many non-students could attend. (100~200, in a graduating class of 1000+) It generally came off as the school trying to dictate who you went out with.

You're probably right. I checked her bio and she's supposedly 28 which is pretty old for prom IMO. I would have just taken her somewhere else.
