Boy do I feel stupid!

I noticed earlier today that one of the WU's on my main rig (1600+ @ 1743) was taking over 4 hours to do a work unit. I just figured it must be a very low AR. I just checked the one it's currently on, and it was at 4.5 hours total time! I thought it was kinda strange, so I right clicked on my computer, went to properties. Whaddaya know, 1600+ :Q😕

I shut my computer down and took it off the desk the other day to put a blue power LED in, and when I powered it on to check to see if the LED was hooked up right, the mobo made some strange beeps, which I shrugged off. Don't know why, but for some reason my FSB got set back to 133, so for two days i've been running at 1600+ and didn't even realize it!

I must have lost 1 or maybe even 2 WU's each day!!!!! :Q

Always pay attention when your mobo beeps at you 😉

So when running at stock your 1600+ does over 4 hour work units? I've got mine running at stock with pc133 ram on an ECS K7S5A doing 3.5 hour work units.🙂 Actually the times have sped up since I installed the New OS. Screw windows.😉
