When I started college, and failed to make the track team, I spent my first two years trying out different ways to stay in shape... lifting, ultimate frisbee, broomball, etc.

A couple months ago I started taking boxing lessons at the local YMCA, and I think I've found a new passion... :D After my first lesson I dont think i've ever been so sore in my life... and being in the ring with someone whose trying to slap you around is quite a rush.

However, theres just one downside, and it should really be no suprise. When I first met the trainer, he seemed like he wasnt really all there. After asking one of the other guys there, I found out that he was a pro boxer for a while, and the "slowness" is just a result of all the shots he took to the head...

Sooo yeah, boxing rocks, but theres now way I'd ever compete.
