Step by step tour of my recent upgrade. I posted this on another forum that I am active in and wanted to share with you guys. It's a private forum so I just saved it as a webpage in Firefox. It's just the first two pages and includes the file folder for each page. I put them in a zip file and uploaded the file to megaupload. Just download and extract the zip file to the same directory and you should see all the pics and images as if you were on the website. Let me know what you think! :)

Well, I wasn't sure where the best place to post this, but since I used the P180, Yate Loon case fans, sleeved the PSU and power leads (cpu, vga, and case fans) and installed a front bay fan controller I figured that this was the best forum to put this.

Very nice read. I liked the cable sleeving you did. I wish I had a hacksaw so I could put a YL fan on the top part, but had to stick with the standard TriCool. :(

Thanks, it was as much fun documenting and writing the article as it was in the build. I actually get tired of having all those tools and parts lying all over the place, so I also look forward to completing those dreaded upgrades. It's nice just using all that horsepower. I enjoy how damn quiet the box is (with 4 x 120mm case fans and a wd raptor)!

Definately. I have my old computer still running (first build) downstairs. My old one sounds like a wind tunnel compared to this new one, its night and day.

After building this comp I can't hear it even over my ceiling fan, it's great.

Did I mention lots of pretty pictures? C'mon guys at least take a look. You all know part of the fun of building pcs is having other peeps check it out. :)
