Burn bags?

Erhm.

1. Ooooops backup tapes of emails got wiped by accident.
2. Burn bags flew on to my documents and spontaneously combusted. Dog did it.

Donald you dumb fuck.

Its like that segment of career criminals that ride super loud bikes and announce their crime gang affiliation with tattoos and patches on their vests.
STUPID.

The linked article, includes a link directly to the relevant U.S. Code:
Yes, Kimmel (and HuffPost) are correctly referencing yet another statute that Trump clearly violated, although this one actually has some teeth to it. Note the disqualification for any office under the United States is a "shall" penalty, not a discretionary penalty.

Unless Biden acts like a spoiled brat, don't believe he's revoked the orange monkey's security clearance. So as long he's not publicly displaying any classified material, this issue is something to just move on from. Far worse acts that needs immediate attention.

There are two considerations to make in regard to that...
  1. Having the appropriate clearance level is only part of the equation for having access to sensitive material. You also need to validated need-to-know.
  2. One requirement for continued access to sensitive material is proper handling and avoiding any leakage. An obvious issue is having sensitive material openly displayed in an unsecured area, and even if you talk about it being in a box (i.e. technically not openly displayed), it's still not properly secured for transport and definitely not for storage.

Normally, people would at the minimum lose their clearance for repeated occurrances of mishandling classified information. Which ultimately means, you loose your job. It absolutely torques the shit out of me, having worked in a classified environment for over 39 years of my career. You forget to lock the classified safe at night is a BFD!

Trump is no better than a petty thief. Wonder how much stuff he has pilfered where ever he traveled. Wonder what he stole while the guest of foreign governments.

it would be funny if this is what brought trump down of all things. tearing up paper (or deleting electronic records).
Doesn’t have to be brought down. Let’s just hope that he gets barred from holding an elected office. Then hope the MAGAtards still write him in and take away potential votes from the republican candidate and Biden wins an even larger landslide EC win than Reagan.

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall, when they walked into Mar-A-Lago. He probably was throwing fits.

If you have a few hours to kill, here's a list of Trump's misdeeds that he committed over the years in and out of office:

It still leaves me in awe how a total loser like Trump still commands the loyalty of those of millions of dupes that Trump would sacrifice for his personal benefit with nary a moment's thought of regret or remorse.

Over compensating. How not best to boost their low self esteem than worship someone with such low ethics, a coward and wannabe bully.
