i havent been bowling in ages. saw a place w/the following rates:

$6 per game or $55 per hr for the lane

you have to reserve ahead of time if you want the $55/hr lane rental.

How long does it take for 1 person to bowl?

It depends on how many times the waitress passes by my lane!

That's hella expensive. If you choose bowl by hour, it will always turn into speed bowling and your score will reflect.
I used to get 4 people to do speed bowling and we can always get 2 games per person out of an hour. So that's 8 games total in a fast throw and go environment.

Haha good one Zim.

As for the average player...if you are playing by yourself then maybe 10 minutes if you take a nice even pace, quicker if you go faster but it may tire you out that way. If you get a lot of people it can take longer. My league we have 5 player teams and a 5v5 takes about 45 minutes for everybody to go.

you cant play 9 games in one hour

that would equate to about 1 game every 6 minutes approx, or 1.5 frames per minute.

where i live they charge $17/hr to rent a lane. I consider this reasonable.

Easily done. I could do it. But then I am pretty good and throw a decent amount of strikes so that cuts down time.
