Bourne Legacy (Aug 10,2012)

JEDI

Lifer
the guy who played the 'analyst' who was actually an agent in Mission Impossible 4 is the new Bourne.

can't wait for this 4th movie in the Bourne Trilogy.

too bad Matt Damon decided not to renew his role unless the same director ( Paul Greengrass) directed.

I wonder why Paul Greengrass decided not to direct the 4th installment???

edit:
the script writer for Legacy is also the director?!
hm.. bad feelings about this...

I saw this trailer when we went to see Ted and I have to admit it looked pretty good. The guy playing the Bourne-type lead played Ted Bundy or someone like that in a move a long while ago. He is a quality actor.

He is in...The town, The avengers, Swat etc...He is a great actor and somewhat kinda has that type of face like the replaced one....

Uh, this isnt someone else playing Bourne. The storyline is the new guy (Aaron someone) was in the same training crew or something as Jason Bourne.

Ted Bundy? lol He's an action guy...played Hawkeye in Avengers and Thor, was in The Town, and a bunch of others.

Don't really care for this new guy. Wish it was Damon. Oh well.
Yeah I hate this guy, he's one of the worst "cock-sucker" looking actors out there. That's just the best way I can describe it.

Damon was awesome in these, pissed he has not reprised role.

Thanks for clarification. Still do not like this guy here 😉

Yea and this guy is supposedly hopped up some type special drugs. Looks kinda meh, but I will probably go see it.

I will see it at some point, regardless of reviews. I liked the first one, second one was pretty good, third one was meh. WAY overdone with the shakey cam. I could stand it in the first two, although it just got progressively worse in each film.

He's not taking over the role of Jason Bourne, He's playing some other character I think.

Anyways, from the preview it looks like same ole same ole, running around on rooftops, government tracking his every move...oh no he's coming back for revenge for some reason! The end. I doubt it's bad but really not too interested in it. I don't think I'd be interested if Matt Damon was in it either, it's just that you can only tell the same story so many times. Reviews on it aren't too good right now, i think it'll be listed as "rotten" by tomorrow.

Read the books and enjoyed them, hated the shaky cam movies that changed camera angles every .45 seconds for the entire 2 hours.

Jeremy Renner is a "local boy." He's not a bad actor...but I'm still not sure about switching actors. Sometimes that works well for a franchise...other times, not so much.

(look at the various James Bond actors over the years...some have done well, some...meh.)

As has already been mentioned, he's not playing Jason Bourne, but Aaron Cross, an agent from a different program.
