Bouncing computer names.. ?

I got a disturbing problem, sometimes when my clients try to log on to my domain they get that the DC is unreachable.. All i have to do is to change the computer name of the client, then i can log in to the DC again.. Can i do something to avoid that kind of probbs? It's like the name is bouncing around in my domain for some time.. My DC is a Nt4 and the clients are W98.
