The bouncer got 9 years prison time and has to pay back $32,000 in restitution. Good. Beating the weakling was one thing, but knocking out the girl? Bullies like him don't belong in a civilized society.

Bite the curb. :Q

Seriously though, do you know any details of the situation? I hope the bouncer did some time for nonaggravated assault.

If the kid even tapped or pushed the bouncer, the bouncer's off scott-free.

hmmm no, not outside the club ever (the purpose of a bouncer is to get one out of the club, once out there should be nothing more to do). Some bouncer follows me out of the club, as I am leaving and assaults me in the parking lot as I am leaving, regardless of what I did inside the club, it's a crime. Same way if you chase down a robber fleeing and shoot him. You will see criminal court.

Even inside, this kind of beating would not be allowed, the guy was obviously fleeing and then subdued within seconds, yet the beating continued. There have been several bouncers getting charged with assault/attempted murder here for over-excusing someone outside.

This guy deserves all he gets, one he nailed the chick which was not really a threat, second he uses someone elses car as a bumper...not cool.

Getting it all on a vidcam, priceless and profit!

Agreed. If I saw that happening and I was carrying, I'd try my hardest to aim for the bouncer's crotch. :Q

if by crotch, you mean face, then yes.

I'd want to cause the most amount of pain...not kill the guy.

I got kicked out of a concert one time. At the time, I was a minor and they threw me out onto the streets of Chicago (not very gently I might add) all by my lonesome :( They would've gotten in some trouble if I ever reported them.

seth

What may have happened was merely lip service, some guy mouthing off to a bouncer about why his low income a$$ decided it was ok to have his car towed while he was spending money in the club.

I have been on this side of it with some hot headed bouncers thinking they can dictate things beyond their responsibility. I am a pretty good fighter and have not had a beat down. That said, the best friend you can make in a bar/club is the security. If you get them to know you are a normal guy/girl from the start, things go so much better should someone else try to sway them into their own favor.

Even if the guy did do something offensive to the bouncer, he didn't attempt to murder him like the bouncer tried to do to the guy.

You missed the point. I agree that the guy deserves to be in prison but something doesn't add up.

Supposedly, this is what happened:

(guy who was beaten) Excuse me, do you know what happened to my car?

(bouncer) Yeah, we had it towed a$$hole..

(guy who was beaten) I see, can you tell me where it was towed?

Bouncer beats the hell out of the guy..

No one is saying that it should matter. I just want to know what happened. For all you know he may have spit on the bouncer, threw a rock at him, keyed his car, etc.

He should have shot the bouncer for what he got in return. That fvckwad deserves to rot in jail for a long long time.

Thats what happens when you play by their rules on their turf. I've visited some very rowdy unctrollable clubs and the door staff acts like asses only letting certain people in, but they do seem completely calm at all times. That dude must've done something, as much as i would hate to admit it because of the ammount of violence that is shown.

hahah damn really crack a book open or something.

You can not just attempt to kill someone and this is what the bouncer did. slamming his head on the sidewalk is bad.

You do have the right to use deadly force when you think your life is in danger. The bouncer's life was not.
