Bought used car 6 weeks back - where is my car title?

No guys I didn't get scammed (I don't think hehe). Anyway I bought it from a used car dealer and he sent me the official forms a couple days later and I went and registered the vehicle and I have proof of registration and what not. Since it was not a private sale but rather a dealer sale the titles are handled differently - but 6 weeks seems a bit long. Where is this thing? I could theoretically call but that would deny the point of this thread.

I received the title for my car about 2-3 months later. I think it's normal that they take long

we have to register it ourselves in nevada, even from a dealership. We have to take all that stuff and stand in line after we buy the car to register it, it was different in California. I would talk to the dealer, then to the dept of motor vehicles about it.

Anyway they just said 4-8 weeks. This is perhaps the stupidest thread I've ever made. Just the sort that notfred would hate (since I literally did just pick up the phone to have it answered)
