Folks I just bought an ipod for my friend out of state. Now we thought we could use the high tech way of sending money through paypal :p, so will I be charged a transaction fee when she sends me the money..

and no pics..sorry..

Damm fuckers, i last used paypal abt 6 years ago and I could send money to anyone with no transaction fees or something..I forgot..it was the option I choose , for ex, it was either goods / services or smething like that..

If she sends bank or existing funds, send it to your personal account. Everyone can have two, one that'll take cc's and take a fee on all transactions and a regular one.

Correct. Open another paypal acct and keep it as a personal acct. You'd have to open another bank account as well to withdraw the $ for free (or pay $1 for a check to be sent)
