bought new ulrta floppy all in one usb 2.0 and no were to plug it.

I have a new dell 630i and it did not come with the floppy I orderd it with. so I bought the ultra internal floppy all in one digital media drive usb 2.0. I have the 34 pin slot on the mother board for the floppy and a 4 pin power plug off the cable that connects my 2 dvd drives. but what I can not find is were the black 4 pin usb connects on my mother board.

You could always steal the ports from the case front USB ports.

Looking at where those cables go might also show you where the spare pins are, but there might not be any.

Since it's a Dell, I really doubt there's extra USB headers on the motherboard for your connection. The next step would be to buy an add in USB card for one of your PCI slots. Some of them have bare headers on the card themselves.

Some people avoid Rosewill but for something like a USB card, it works or it doesn't pretty much.

Try looking for blue instead of black. I agree that it's possible that there is no header available, but if it was an option when you ordered it, I'm betting the header is there.

I was just at a friends house last night with the same situation. He thought he had ordered a Card Reader with his Dell but it arrived without it. Before he ordered one, I suggested we look and the header was there at the bottom edge. It was blue.

Dell uses proprietary motherboard connectors and cables to get USB to the front of the case. Power switch, drive light, etc. all run through that cable.
