Bought New Addition of Akira on DVD and lost a part of my childhood..

They changed the damn voices and the dialogue. I saw Akira when I was 7 and fell in love with it, growing up with the voices in my mind, now they have changed. Hpmh I'll just have to buy the origional one.

I don't remember the original dub track, but since they went to the trouble of redoing it, you think they would have done a better job. They need to translate these things, then translate those translations with people who speak English as a first language.

I know what you mean, but at least I still have an old VHS copy of it as well. They should offer two different track, new and old. Whoever did the original voice of Kenada is the best.
