Bought myself a X360

So I finally bought a 360 to go with my Wii and PC gaming.

I managed to snag a 360Elite + Ace Combat 6 for $275 brand new in the box. Nice deal eh?


I already have alot of the good games for PC that are also on 360. Fallout 3, Oblivion, GTAIV, Assassins Creed, Orange Box and a couple others that I cant think of right now.

I don't have Mass Effect. Should that be on my list? What about some things that are 360 exclusive? I'm usually an action/rpg/FPS kinda guy.

If you like shooters:

Gears of War (1 is better than 2 IMHO)
Call of Duty 4 (4 is better than World at War IMHO)
Rainbow Six Vegas/2
Bioshock
Halo 3 (if you're in to that sort of thing)


If you like action/adventure:

Mass Effect
Ninja Gaiden Black (original Xbox game, but it's BC)
Ninja Gaiden 2 (not as good as Black but fun)
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Bionic Commando: Rearmed

Check out Crackdown. Lots of great Live Arcade titles as well, download a few demos. There was a recent thread on the best Live Arcade titles, search it out and check out the recommendations. EVERY game in the Live Arcade has a demo.

Check out metacritic's top rates games list for the 360. Try some demos, rent some games, and you'll find a ton you enjoy.

Oh and mass effect is great 360 or PC. Whichever you prefer.

I'm not a fan of Rock Band, Guitar Hero or any of that...I know it's utterly insane that someone doesn't like those games...but I hated DDR too. I forgot to add earlier I have all the Call of Duty's for PC and Bioshock...

So really out of that top 20 list on metacritic I've got well....alot of those games...or dont like the guitar/band ones however I have none of the Tom Clancy stuff so thats at least a start.

And I do want Saints Row 2 and Mass Effect. So I suppose I'll have to head to gamestop this weekend.
