I just got a JIUHB xp1800+, an asus a7v8x-x, and 512mb pc3200 ram
I have a few questions before i get started and ruin something 🙂

1. I used to hear about crushed cores all the time, is that still a problem with t-bred B's
2. I have a alpha PAL6035 heatsink... will that work on this chip/mobo? It seems physically compatible.
I dont need great heating as I wont be overclocking much.

As long as your cooler's clip doesn't require exceesive force or if you don't apply excessive force to the cooler's clip, you should be fine on #1, and as for number 2, i just looked at the cooler, and it seems pretty beefy, not to mention that it is compatible, so as long as you have a good enough fan on it and your case is well ventilated, your temps should be very nice.
