2007 Ford Fusion SE
2.3L I-4
49k miles

Listed at 12988, listed as online special at 10988, we talked them down to 9751 to make it 10k even with fees, with a free oil change coupon and tank of gas. Still has a 5yr/60k factory drivetrain and roadside warranty, along with 12 month/12k drivetrain warranty from the dealership

I pick it up Tuesday when I get the check from my bank. I'm 18 so this is the first car I've bought myself, and I did it completely independent and with no cosigner :D

Not everyone can afford a garage of Ferraris and Ford GTs to complement their drop dead super model wives.

They like going slow? ;)

I have a S60 R at my disposal for when I feel like going fast. It fits that need quite well

And yeah, Fusions are nice cars. I'm just looking for something for the next couple years until I step up into the ~25k sport sedan range, or decide to go back to school. Whichev

Good cars huh? Good at what? Being boring....

I guess the newer car with a warranty thing means something to some people. I'd rather pay cash for an older vehicle with a lot more character.

Is that a 60K warranty on top of the 49, or 60K over all, if it's overall, then you really only have about 1 yr warranty on it, most people drive 12-20K miles a yr, plus or minus but around that.

You're right. All news cars are crap, worthless, shouldn't have been made, etc. Everyone should buy 20 year old Hondas and spend half their life doing repairs to keep it running.

Because the only way to have fun is 1/4m drag

And the factory warranty goes til 5yr/60k from manufacture date, but there is a separate warranty from the dealer tat is 12month/12k from purchase

I had my 20 year old Honda for 5 years but it obviously wasn't that old then.

Since then I've had a 2001 Subaru 2.5RS coupe and I currently own a 2005 Evo VIII and a 1996 Mazda Miata.

Nice try though.

Dude, what's with the hating?

The guy is 18 years old, and he probably doesn't have oodles of cash to pay for repairs to an older vehicle if something goes wrong. I think he made a good choice.

The Fusion handles pretty well and is based on the Mazda6 platform.

You're ragging on a guy for buying a 2007 model car when you yourself owned a 2005 model car. Wow, you're an idiot. Do yourself a favor and stop posting.

Are you slow? That was my point. I'd RATHER have an older car that has more character. You could offer me a brand new Fusion and I wouldn't want it.

The point is you're a troll and a hypocrite which you have proven, again, and again.

lol older pwahahaha you own an 05 and he has an 07. Your car is so much older.

No reason to thread crap on a guy who bought a car that he wanted and it's a good car.

You ever hear of this thing called personal preferences? You like faster cars with "character". That's great, have a :cookie:

The OP wanted something different from you and made a reasonable decision. He posted about it, and your douche-tastic post was the first one to greet him.

I'd take a new focus over a used CRX any day.

OP, it looks like a nice car for a good deal.
