been looking to get a plunker for the indoor range and weekends at the local gun club range and picked up this little guy (walther p22) should be fun and super cheap with .22lr ammo.

need to get a lockbox for it now...

You don't need a holster for a .22. That article is goofy.

And it's sad that the author's most reliable weapon is a Beretta, which isn't a perfectly reliable weapon.

Congrats on the pistol though. Now get something bigger. 😀

How much did it set you back?

I've been wanting to get one but don't really want to spend more than a few hundred at most.

I think $300 would be pushing it.

the walther retails at $299 for the 3.5" barrel, you can buy the 5" barrel later as they are interchangeable. its not the gun for everyone though its a little picky on ammo and not the most accurate. but is the probably the best looking .22 ... also its only 75% of the size of a p99 so if youve got big hands it may not fit hehe.

I have a cheap pellet gun version of the p99 on my desk in front of me.

I got a free $100 gift card to Dicks Sporting Goods and decided to share it with one of my housemates... couldn't decide what to blow it on so we stumbled down that aisle and just said "HELL YES!" Bought 2 of them, 10,000 pellets, and had some of the GC left over to just throw some of the crap sitting at the registers down and buy it. I even bought the clerk a soda. 🙂
