Anybody know if a car stereo exists that can play MP3s off a DVD+R disk?
 
Congrats! 🙂 That is a nice ride, and should last you quite awhile.. As for a car receiver that can read mp3 dvd-r's I have not heard of one yet.

Its an automatic w/ overdrive. Heck of a lot more acceleration than my old POS sunbird. It handles great too, taking tight turns can actually be done in this car.
 
Whoa 4.7gb of MP3s? Crazy. Never heard of it though.

What I did for my dads car (that only has a tape deck) is buy an MP3 cd player and get a car kit.

Cost around 50 for that stuff....I don't really see a point in getting 4.7gb of mp3s. Swapping 700MB cds isn't that much of a pain.

Well 700MB cds get you about 10 hours of music. Good luck in your search though.

I would try eBay and see if anyone sells such a thing.
 
I'm sure you're better off getting an ipod then buying a DVD deck unless I have my pricing wrong...
 
Good job getting rid of the POS GMsuckmobile... Best Cars on the road are pretty much hands down Toyota's. Way better than Civics or Sentra's for the money and power... you could rice a toyota corolla.. but it alreadys comes with plenty of power 😀
