Bought my first house!

My wifes old house near Columbus finally sold last month. We went house hunting around Cincinnati and found a nice 1 story 3 bedroom 1.5 bath ranch style house for a great price. I think the couple that lived there was divorcing and wanted to sell it fast. The interior has been completly redone and the place is spotless.

These are pictures the realtor took to sell the place. I'll post my own after we move.

Congrats!!! what a cute house!
Best of luck to you in making it your own!

Thanks!

The only problem the inspector noted was that there was a small leak around the chimney. He also said it was one of the better ones he has seen. A bit of roofing tar or whatever that black goopy stuff is should fix it right up. I have a lot to learn about homeownership, but it should be fun.

The house looks great. The previous owners' sense of style does not.

lol That's exactly what my friends and coworkers have said when I showed them the photos. I like what they did outside though. The kitchen looks good as well (minus the million bird house decorations that are everywhere).

I was looking through the pics in order and thinking they all looked good until the interior ones. I'm glad that?s the previous owners furniture/style as ... well ... uhh ... lets just say I'm not a fan.

Congrats!!! Looking good (aside from the interior styling, which will be gone anyways 🙂)

Two years ago I didn't even think I could ever own a home. I moved from Michigan to Cincinnati in June 04 with my Trans AM, what I could fit into it, and $600. That's it! Before that I had never been to Cincinnati and didn't know anyone here. Thankfully, I managed to get an apartment and get a contract job through a local agency. The thought of me being married never crossed my mind, but I am. I met Tricia online shortly after moving and we knew it was right. We married in May of this year. There were three jobs I've had since moving and each one was a step up from what I previously had. Everything is moving so fast! Two years ago I was dirt broke and alone. Now I have everything I only dreamed of having.
