Hey everyone, it's certain that i am going to be doing a new build (my first time) and i have just ordered an Acer 20" Widescreen monitor, Cooler Master Centurion 5 Case, and a Rosewill Anti Static Wrist Wrap (to be on the safe side). here are the rest of the things i am getting. My overall budget was $1,000 but with the monitor and case gone it leaves me to spend about $850 for the rest. Here is what i have picked out and feel very strongly about. I kind of wanted to go SLI in the future but all the mobos for that are pretty expensive. Thanks for any suggestions!

Case - Cooler Master Centurion 5 (Already Bought) $49.99 @ Newegg

Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-P35-S3L $86 @ Newegg

Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 $177.90 @ ZipZoomFly

RAM - Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) $109.99 @ Newegg

Graphics Card - eVGA Geforce 8800GTS 320MB $279.99 @ Newegg

Hard Drive - Seate Barracuda 250GB $64.99 @ ZipZoomFly

Optical Drive - Lite-On 20X DVD+CD Combo with Lightscribe $31.99 @ Newegg

PSU - FSP Group (Fortron Source) 500W $69.99 @ Newegg

Monitor - Acer AL2051W 20" Widescreen $199.99 @ Newegg (Already Bought)

Excluding the Stuff I already bought the total comes to $838 and with MIR it would be $783 Shipped

Any Suggestions Welcome! Are all parts compatible? My main goal is to be able to play Halo 2 without or with very little lag. Thanks

Wow, thats a first!

Thanks, feels like a solid build. Can't wait until that monitor gets here so i can try it out. In a couple of weeks the rest of the parts will be bought and i will be sure to post some pics when the finished product is complete. I cant wait!
