I bought a toshiba sattelit 115cs at auction and it has no cdrom
How wuold I connect a cdrom to load OS and programs
I am anticipating buying an external cdrom
Thanks

PCMCIA cd-rom drives are available widely and work with Toshiba laptops.

The alternative is to try to find a docking station with a cd-rom option but that will be much more expensive

I have an old NEC MultiSpin 3X CD-ROM reader that connects via the parallel port. I got it just for the reason you describe. It's slow but it works and only cost me $15 on e*bay.
