This 5" e-ink reader is Hanvon brand which is the most famous brand in China. When I bought this, the SONY 5" is $30 cheaper but I bought this anyway for $160.
I have been using it every day for over 30 days. Well, the battery is still half full. Amazing! I don't need wifi or any special software to transfer books. All I need to do is take out the 2GB SD card and copy the books to it and insert it back to the N516.
The N516 suppors PDF, epub, txt, html, and office document formats. The description doesn't say the office document format but it indeed can read those files .doc, .xls and .ppt, but not Office 2007 format.
The bookmark button is very useful and the 3-level zoom function really helps. So far I found epub and pdf files are much better to handle on this ebook reader.
The N516 came with the leather case and 2GB SD card. It even plays mp3.
So after one month I have to say this is an amazing ebook reader and I am glad I did not get kindle, nook or SONY PRS300.
