Bought gf3 ti200 and it's fan makes an annoying noise

Just a couple of weeks ago, I bought a Visiontek Geforce3 ti200. Everything has been fine up to the point where the fan is making all of this noise. Its very annoying and id love to play my games without that annoying LOUD noise, is there anything that i can do, Please Respond

if its bothering u that much and if u purchased it couple of weeks ago, exchange it..

if you dont want to, this is a good chance to upgrade to a better heatnk&fan combo.

the fan is really really small so i dont think there is much u can do to fix it.

i've seen some articles where ppl open up the fan (case fans) to clean the dirt out and oil it up but this is too small....

spose yoou could try some WD40 on teh fan. Dont know if it would damage your circuits or not, so you might want to keep the solvent away from the board if you do that. just a suggestion...

i just unplugged the fan on my visiontek gf2 ti and underclocked the core to 220. stable as it ever was.
