hello everyone... I purchased a brand new Enermax EG465P-VE off ebay for $60 shipped which seemed like a hell of a deal... my question is, is this a good psu. I will be running an 1800+ tbred "b", MSI K7N2 -L mobo (nf2), SLK-800 with decent fan, 2x256mb Mushkin PC3200 (2-2-2), 120GB WD Special Edition Hard Drive, GeForce4 MX440 (upgrading when I get more money), and Plextor CDRW. Will that power supply handle all that stuff well... I want to experiment with overclocking a bit....

Thanks for any help

It'll last you a long time, and serve almost any needs (unless you go for something crazy like SCSI RAID and dual Xeons--but maybe even then). It'll do great for OCing, as well.

The "power" of the supply is great from enermax.

Some of the stuff they're trying to do with ps fans, though, is ridiculous. Some of their dual fan designs actually vent better if you remove the internal fan completely, go figure (and of course become much quieter in the process). The one I have had a larger intake fan than exhaust, AND had separate grillwork venting back into the case. It ended up recirculating almost as much air as it vented until I completely removed the 2nd fan. After that, internal temps went down, and so did the noise level.
