I guess I've been vaping at too high of a wattage/voltage this whole time (at least the time I've had my current device and the one before it). Well that means those "safe vaping chart" images out there that show the voltage/wattage and resistance as colors on a scale:
Example are pretty much bullshit. I always vaped at the lower end of the "safe" ranges in those charts and seemed to go through atomizers quickly and never got much of a "taste" from juices.
I happened to have a Max VG juice laying around so I tried that and had to turn the voltage/wattage way down on my device because it was giving me a burnt taste. But it sucked cause it didn't vape well then. Anyway I tossed that little Max VG bottle and went to another juice I had, this one 70/30 PG/VG. I stayed at a low voltage/wattage and bam: actually decent taste from the crap! I'm vaping "Gimmix" from Mount Baker Vapor right now and it tastes very similar to Fruit Loops (IMO). My device, an iStick 50W and iSub G tank, is running at 2.6V/11.8W with the regular 0.5 ohm (my mod registers it at 0.6 ohm) atomizers for the tank.
Well I'm definitely sticking with these low power levels from now on. It just seems stupid that there are these super high power devices, like 200W, and it's completely unnecessary. Hell, I won't get anywhere NEAR the max level of my 50W device. What's up with that?
Oh and something else I'm pumped about: THERE'S FINALLY A PURE KIWI FLAVOR! WOOT. Pure kiwi; not infected with sub-par fruit like strawberries.
